Classical music has something of a sexism problem - from casting, to clueless staging, to even smoothing over the more problematic parts of operas because “that’s just how things were.” It’s also got a class problem: art music is and should be for everyone, but the social gatekeeping and cost associated with attending means it’s really not meant to be enjoyed by everyone.
In the immortal words of the great bard, “Fuck that.”
